Validating e mail

This may not be not the best technical solution, but this way I'm way more flexible and faster.

The most common errors I've come across are spaces (especially at the beginning and end) and occasionally a double dot.

Parsed data is made up of characters, some of which form character data, and some of which form markup.XML is an application profile or restricted form of SGML, the Standard Generalized Markup Language [ISO 8879].By construction, XML documents are conforming SGML documents.But keep in mind that one should not rely only upon Java Script validation. This should be validated on the server side as well.Here's an example of the above in action: Almost all answers to this questions suggest using Regex to validate emails addresses.
